ABOUT ROBERT

Robert is a licensed general contractor with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. His background includes carpet and tile installation, custom moulding work, hardwood floor restoration, residential remodeling, and over a decade of successful home flipping. He has also spent five years building new homes, giving him a well-rounded understanding of both field operations and project management from the ground up.

In addition to his construction experience, Robert brings a unique perspective through his extensive background in education and workforce development. He currently teaches at both Liberty University and Purdue Global University. Throughout his career, he has designed and delivered professional training programs, helping individuals build practical skills that translate directly into real-world success.

Robert holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Homeland Security, along with graduate-level training in leadership and instructional design. His approach to teaching is straightforward and experience-driven, focusing on what contractors actually need to know to stay compliant, operate efficiently, and grow their businesses.

Through Sandhills Construction Academy, Robert is committed to providing high-quality continuing education that is practical, relevant, and grounded in real jobsite experience. His goal is to create a learning environment where contractors can gain valuable knowledge without wasting time — and walk away with tools they can immediately apply in their work.
